The Wellbeing Framework adopted by the Center is a holistic, values-based model grounded in Islamic principles and designed to nurture the human being in a balanced and integrated manner. It is built upon five interconnected pillars, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social wellbeing, which together promote personal flourishing, social harmony, and sustainable development.
The framework emphasizes self-purification, balance, responsibility, and purposeful action, while translating values into practical programs, measurable indicators, and institutional applications. By addressing the whole person and aligning individual growth with community prosperity, the framework serves as a comprehensive guide for education, wellbeing initiatives, and human development.
Spiritual wellbeing is grounded in faith in the Creator -subḥānah-. This faith is realized through our servitude ("ubūdiyyah) to Allah -jalāl jalāluh-. This journey of faith grows through continual purification of the soul (at-tazkiyah), enabling one to attain wellbeing "Al-Hayat Al-Tayiba ".
Emotional wellbeing involves understanding and managing our feelings, developing emotional intelligence, and building resilience to navigate life"s challenges with grace and strength.
